Le Corbusier Chaise in Pony Hide
Versatile and comfortable, Le Corbusier's famed pony chaise made its debut at the 1929 Salon d'Automne des Artistes Decorateurs. Corbusier himself defined it as a "real relaxing machine". The chaise provides optimum comfort as a result of the adjustable half moon frame. A constant and revolutionary design element was the use of steel tubing in the frame of not only this, but the majority of Corbusier's designs.
