On each item page, you will find the manufacturer of that specific item. We sell product from Ekornes, Kristalia, Magis, La Palma, BDI, Calligaris, Bonempi, AU American Upholstery, Blu Dot, Luxy, Pedrali, Tema, Topstar and many others.

We maintain inventory levels of all products in the most popular finish combinations. On a specific item page you will see an item listed (under "Delivery ETA") as In Stock, Back Ordered, or Special Order. In Stock orders ship immediately, and are delivered in 7-10 days. Back Ordered and Special Order are delivered according to the lead time listed. If your order is "time sensitive" we suggest calling (1-800-243-1955) to ensure a product is in stock.

The originals of most of this category are in the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. Our product is made to the exacting dimensions of the originals using the highest quality materials.

Occasionally we can not list the many colors a product may be available in, or additional features it may have. If you have questions about an item, please give us a call (1-800-243-1955) and we'll be happy to answer them!

A special order is an item that European Furniture orders specifically for you.  Special Orders will be charged a deposit of 50% of the product price (not including shipping charge).  The balance and shipping will be charged when the item ships from European Furniture to the customer.  Copies of all special order invoices will be sent to the customer via first class mail.  Lead times are estimated, never guaranteed, however our "on time" rate is over 90%.  Keep in mind that when you are dealing with importing and/or custom furniture at times there can be unforeseen delays of which European Furniture cannot be held responsible. All special orders are subject to a 25% cancellation or return fee.

Special orders from Italy:
Because all Italian industry is on holiday for the entire month of August all special orders from Italy placed between July 1st and August 31st will have an extended delivery time than listed on EuroFurniture.com.  These orders will not go into production until September 1st.  If you have placed an Italian special order between July 1st and Aug 31st, you must add August holiday to the lead time (approx. four weeks additional).  Some Italian manufacturers (Calligaris, Bontempi) have warehouses in the U.S. to supply their "quick ship" programs.  These "quick ship" items may not be affected by August vacation.  Please call European Furniture at 800.243.1955 to find out if the item you have purchased or are interested in would be subject to August vacation and an additional four weeks lead time.

European Furniture gladly invites you to visit our 70,000 square foot facility at 2145 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago.  Our retail store European Furniture Warehouse (312.243.1955) is open 7 days a week (Monday through Thursday from 10-7, Friday and Saturday from 10-6, and Sunday from 12-5).

We do not refurbish, re-upholster, or repair furniture. However, we can supply replacement parts for some Modern Classic pieces. To inquire about replacement parts please see our contact page.

Sales tax is charged to Illinois residents only.

For online sales we currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Your order and information are protected with the highest level of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption available. For security purposes we do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Returns are accepted only within 2 weeks of your receipt of the merchandise and must be in new condition with all of the original packaging. All returns will be charged for shipping both to the customer and for the return shipping to European Furniture. Special Order returns are subject to a 25% return fee in addition to being charged for shipping from and to European Furniture. You must call European Furniture and notify us of your intent to return an item so we may authorize the return. Unauthorized returns WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

Returned or canceled special order products are subject to a 25% cancellation charge. To clarify any issues regarding a return or cancellation, please call (1-800-243-1955).

At this time we serve only commercial/trade accounts outside of the United States.  Select items can be shipped to Canada via FedEx.  FedEx will them collect GST, Provincial sales tax, Dispersement fee, and an entry prep fee at the time of delivery.  If you are ordering form Canada, PLEASE CALL EuroFurniture at 800.243.1955 BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER.

All orders (special or in stock) must be paid in full before shipping.

Your order will be shipped via Fed Ex Ground, Air Freight, or North American Van Lines as noted on the site. European Furniture reserves the right to change the method of shipping without notice. (example: if one were to order several items that would ship via Fed Ex Ground individually, we might group those several items and ship Air Freight).

All deliveries, without exception, require a signature at the time of delivery.

Air Freight Deliveries:
Our standard delivery is a curbside delivery.  If you need a special delivery (inside delivery, debris removal, Saturday delivery, white glove delivery) these are available at an extra charge.  Please call European Furniture (1-800-243-1955) for any special delivery needs.  All merchandise must be inspected upon receipt, before signing for the shipment. Any loss or damage must be noted on the delivery receipt.  Remember, when you sign for a shipment, without exceptions, your signature is verification that your merchandise has been received in good condition.  You paid for your furniture, please be there to inspect and sign for it.  If you cannot personally be there, please give clear instructions to whomever will be receiving your order to open all packages and thoroughly inspect all merchandise.  European Furniture will not take responsibility for and loss or damage on orders that were received and signed for free and clear (without notation of loss or damage).  If you are ordering a large or heavy item(s), please be prepared to receive the shipment on the day of delivery.  If you are unsure about what you will need to do to prepare to receive your shipment, please call European Furniture (1-800-243-1955) and ask us how we will be shipping your order.

The delivering Air Freight carrier will call you no less than 24 hours before delivery with a delivery window of no less than four hours.  The Air Freight carrier is required to give you a reasonable amount of time to open all packages and inspect all merchandise.

North American Van Lines Deliveries:
North American Van Lines is our "white glove" delivery service.  If you have specifically requested and paid for white glove delivery, your order will be shipped via North American Van Lines.  Your local North American Van Lines agent will call you no less than 24 hours before delivery with a delivery window of no less than four hours.  White Glove Delivery includes shipping, installing, unpacking, and set up of your order.  White Glove does not include debris removal (North American will put debris in your garbage, but will not take it with them when they leave).

FedEx Ground/FedEx Home delivery:
If you have provided us with an email address you will receive an email from FedEx notify with the tracking number(s). A signature will be required at the time of delivery. If it is obvious that there is extensive damage to your order (example: the truck ran over the box), please refuse the shipment. Otherwise, you can receive the package, but ask your delivery person to mark the package "received damaged." If you receive your FedEx shipment and find damage, you are required to notify European Furniture with two business day of your receipt.  FedEx Home Deliveries occur Tuesday through Saturday (generally 9am-5pm). FedEx Ground delivers Monday through Friday, regular business hours.
