Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988)

Isamu Noguchi sought to make sculpture useful in everyday life; his furniture and interior designs reflect this idea.  Noguchi was most active in this field in the 1940s, creating furniture and interiors that illustrated the biomorphic imagery of his contemporary sculpture.
