Overview

Calligaris introduced this modern extending table in 2017. The Duca table is available with either a ceramic top or a tempered glass top. While the glass is nice, the extraordinary properties of ceramic materials can improve everyday life. Ceramic surfaces can be cut only with a diamond blade and are resistant to impacts. This means scratches are not an issue here. Ceramics are also waterproof and therefore will not absorb liquids. This means no more stains. Hot pots? Frozen food? Not a problem because these ceramic tops are thermal shock resistant.
